Panel welder — Oklahoma County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a panel welder in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
