PVC window assembler wanted in Aleutians East Borough

Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Aleutians East Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a glazing and fabrication factory. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine On a typical shift you will cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter. 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
