Vacancy available: bar bender and fixer (Michigan)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Ionia County, Michigan. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. The role involves bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Rotating shifts.
