Now hiring: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Mountrail County, North Dakota. You will be based at a halal meat counter. On the job you will handle: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts What we are looking for: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Six days a week, one day off.
