Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Pike County, Illinois. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. The role involves operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean. Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
