Now hiring: fabricator-welder (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Madison County, Georgia. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. The role involves: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 1+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
