Urgent requirement: we are hiring a wall and floor tiler in Kaufman County, Texas. The job is in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. Your main tasks: • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even What we are looking for: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
