Lathe programmer-operator wanted in West Sussex

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in West Sussex, England. The job is in a tool room. You will set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; write and edit G-code programs at the control; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers. You should have: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer £2,100 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
