Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Walsh County, North Dakota. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
