Cnc turner wanted in Waldo County

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc turner in Waldo County, Maine. You will work at an auto-components manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. Ideal candidate: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred 6+ years on the tools preferred.
