Metal caster wanted in Monroe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Monroe County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. Day to day you will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings.
