Day-to-day duties: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Able to read isometric and site drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred.
