Backhoe loader operator wanted in Whitley County

Now hiring: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Whitley County, Indiana. You will work at a road-building project. Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Your main tasks: • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines 3+ years on the tools preferred.
