Now hiring: we are hiring a production welder in Campbell County, South Dakota. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. The role involves: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
