Semi-automatic welder wanted in Erie County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Erie County, Ohio. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; grind back and re-weld any defective runs. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
