Join our team: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Lawrence County, Alabama. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes The role involves: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
