Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cement mason in Gaston County, North Carolina. You should have: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers On the job you will handle: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
