Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Wichita County, Kansas. On the job you will handle: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
