Now hiring: we are hiring a powder coater in Dakota County, Nebraska. Day-to-day duties: • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow Requirements: • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting 4+ years on the tools preferred.
