Urgent requirement: we are hiring a car mechanic in Clinton County, Iowa. The job is at a tyre and exhaust shop. Day to day you will trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems; replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends; carry out suspension and steering repairs; read fault codes and clear them after the repair; carry out wheel alignment and tyre balancing. Requirements: • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • Good eyesight and methodical fault-finding Full-time with occasional weekends.
