Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in El Dorado County, California. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently On the job you will handle: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes Rotating shifts.
