Join our team: HGV driver (Florida)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a HGV driver in Charlotte County, Florida. You will be based at a logistics warehouse. The role involves: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits You should have: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid digital tachograph card At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
