Building site helper — Ika North East

Vacancy available: we are hiring a building site helper in Ika North East, Delta State. The job is with a civil contractor. Ideal candidate: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Day-to-day duties: • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days ₦265,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
