Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Henderson County, Illinois. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. Day to day you will write and edit G-code programs at the control; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
