Argon welder — Newberry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Newberry County, South Carolina. The role involves set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
