Demolition labourer • Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

Immediate opening: we are hiring a demolition labourer in Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. Requirements: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker On a typical shift you will dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction. Pay around £2,350 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
