Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Ilorin East, Kwara State. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
