On a typical shift you will season and marinate meat on request; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. You should have: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Full-time, day shift.
