Great opportunity: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Starr County, Texas. The job is at a busy body shop. The role involves: • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour Ideal candidate: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
