HVAC-R technician • Allamakee County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in Allamakee County, Iowa. The role involves check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
