What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Day-to-day duties: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
