Urgent requirement: natural gas fitter (Missouri)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Camden County, Missouri. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. On a typical shift you will check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits.
