Rebar installer wanted in Jackson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar installer in Jackson County, Iowa. The job is at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing On a typical shift you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Share your details and we will call you back.
