Aluminium tig welder wanted in Lee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Lee County, Alabama. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion.
