Argon arc welder wanted in Hidalgo County

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Hidalgo County, New Mexico. The job is on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
