Great opportunity: we are hiring a carpenter in Polk County, Nebraska. You will work at a shopfitting company. Day-to-day duties: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Good eye for detail and a clean finish 4+ years on the tools preferred.
