Glazing assistant — City of Portsmouth

Great opportunity: we are hiring a glazing assistant in City of Portsmouth, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter The role involves grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; replace cracked or broken window panes; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
