Join our team: we are hiring a rebar worker in James City County, Virginia. You will work at a high-rise construction project. On a typical shift you will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level 5+ years on the tools preferred.
