HSE supervisor wanted in Skamania County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a HSE supervisor in Skamania County, Washington. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. Your main tasks: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Six days a week, one day off.
