Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Day to day you will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS).
