Join our team: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Owen County, Kentucky. The job is at a shipyard. You will hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
