Aluminium installer — Laurens County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium installer in Laurens County, South Carolina. You will be based at a busy aluminium fabrication workshop. Day to day you will punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware; anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners; de-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces; cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw; crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine; fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels. Requirements: • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Good finishing sense — no scratches, clean silicone lines • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines Part-time with flexible hours.
