Great opportunity: we are hiring a cement mason in Calhoun County, Arkansas. You will work on a building construction site. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Day to day you will lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off.
