Gang bricklayer — Hampshire County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Hampshire County, Massachusetts. Day to day you will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
