Fettler wanted in Davidson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fettler in Davidson County, Tennessee. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
