Aluminium technician — Story County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium technician in Story County, Iowa. You will work in a fabrication and glazing factory. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders • Own basic hand tools — measuring tape, spirit level, cordless drill • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections On a typical shift you will cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw; anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners; de-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces; crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $26 per hour plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Share your details and we will call you back.
