Finishing presser wanted in Union County

Join our team: we are hiring a finishing presser in Union County, Iowa. You will work at a textile finishing unit. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Day-to-day duties: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
