Ductable AC technician — Matanuska-Susitna Borough

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ductable AC technician in Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Alaska. You will be based at an HVAC contractor's workshop. Your main tasks: • Mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them • Install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes • Run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge Requirements: • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests • Can read electrical and piping schematics Meals and transport allowance provided.
