Urgent requirement: we are hiring a container truck driver in Plymouth County, Iowa. You will work at a busy distribution depot. Requirements: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence The role involves: • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels $260 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
