Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC technician in Pocahontas County, Iowa. You will work in shopping malls and office buildings. Ideal candidate: • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules Day to day you will evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum; install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes; run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall; charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges; fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter; cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines.
